The Grand Social is a brand spanking new venue at the Ha'penny Bridge in Dublin. It is a unique venue that combines Live Music, Comedy, Culture, Djs, Art, and Performance.
The Loft
The new upstairs venue The Loft is a gorgeously appointed room, with superb sound and a boho circus feel, that hosts our premium gigs and clubs as well as everything from quizzes to film screenings, swing dancing clubs to Flea Markets. A short roll call of artists who have performed here includes Fionn Regan, Gruff Rhys, Ghostpoet, Cass McCombs, Damien Dempsey, Laetitia Sadier, Egyptian Lover, Bell X1, Eddie Reader etc etc and is also where some of the top DJs from home & abroad (Unabombers, The Revenge, Craig Smith, Terrence Parker, Traversable Wormhole, Donal Dineen etc etc) have mixed.
The Ballroom
The Ballroom downstairs houses our regular club nights, an ideal party venue where the best of local djs spin the best of indie, electro, alternative, soul, ska, rock, reggae, rock n roll; tunes that make you move and shake. The Ballroom also hosts our free admission Tuesday Night Jazz session - The Jazz Kitchen - and has been used comprehensively throughout the Fringe and Darklight Festivals as a live venue and screening / conference area. This area is ideal for screenings, product launches and as a party area (bookings for partys on Fridays & Saturdays must be early evening) food available on request with advance notice.
The Parlour
Our front bar 'The Parlour' is a cosy, intimate space facing out onto the Ha'penny Bridge. Serving a large range of local and European beers, superb barista coffee, teas and hot chocolate, the bar also stocks delicious hot food cooked by Winding Stair chefs. The perfect meeting place for afterwork drinks. The Parlour also hosts our new 'Off Duty' DJ crew, who will be spinning soothing tunes in the bar from 6 til 9 Wednesdays to Saturdays weekly.
The Garden
The Smoking Garden is a huge outdoor area on the roof of The Grand Social, Dublin & is accessible for all customers.
